Break Even is a solo math solitaire game for Apple Watch and iPhone. These quick checks solve the most common setup and play questions.
How to play
- Draw a card to add it to the right edge of the line.
- Select two card groups whose totals are equal.
- Confirm the balance to clear both groups.
- Finish with the lowest remaining total. Zero is perfect.
The in-game How to Play screen explains edge anchoring, skipped cards, Easy clear chains, Hard-mode limits, and Daily Deals in detail.
Game Center scores are unavailable
- Confirm you are signed into Game Center in the device Settings app.
- Open Break Even and leave the main menu visible for a few seconds.
- Check that network access and Game Center are not restricted.
- Return to Scores and select the correct Easy or Hard category.
Audio is silent or interrupted
- Open Settings inside Break Even and confirm Music and SFX are enabled.
- Check the device volume and silent or focus settings.
- Disconnect another active audio route if playback is going elsewhere.
- Close and reopen the app after changing Bluetooth audio devices.
Progress on iPhone and Apple Watch differs
Confirm both devices use the same iCloud account, have iCloud access, and can reach the network. Completed-run records synchronize through your private iCloud database so career progress, Daily Deal results, and personal statistics can reconcile across devices. Theme, music, celebration, custom table photo, and other device settings remain local. Game Center provides shared global rankings separately.
